About This Location

Yadavindra Gardens (popularly called Pinjore Gardens) in Pinjore, Panchkula district, is a beautifully restored 17th-century Mughal garden built by Nawab Fidai Khan, the foster brother of Aurangzeb. Inspired by Shalimar Bagh, the garden descends through seven terraces with Mughal pavilions (Rang Mahal, Sheesh Mahal, Jal Mahal), ornamental fountains, and sculpted hedgerows, all set against the Shivalik foothills. It is one of the finest Mughal gardens in North India and is just 20 km from Chandigarh, making it the perfect day-trip for pre-wedding photography. The Haryana Tourism bungalows on the grounds allow stay, and the early morning garden before it opens to the public (entry from 7 AM) offers near-private shoot conditions.
