About This Location

Pushkar Lake is one of India's five sacred lakes (Panch Sarovar), surrounded by 52 bathing ghats and over 500 temples including the rare Brahma Temple. The chalk-white temples, colorful ghats, and the Aravalli hills in the background create a unique spiritual-romantic atmosphere. Early morning fog over the lake with priests performing puja and the rising sun behind the hills is particularly cinematic.
