Hyderabad, Telangana
The Charminar, built in 1591 by Mohammed Quli Qutb Shah, is Hyderabad's most iconic landmark — a square monument with four 56-metre minarets at each corner. Surrounded by the bustling Laad Bazaar (famous for bangles) and Chowmahalla Palace nearby, the Charminar area immerses couples in Old Hyderabad's rich Nizami culture. The monument is best photographed from the surrounding streets framing it between bazaar stalls and minarets.
